It’s ridiculous, who gives so many ads , either give less ad or give every ad at once , also once paused during ad then the video is stuck there, it don’t start even after restarting the app and it’s not a network problem because rest app and videos are running properly but it’s this app’s problem only. It is very irritating. And now download feature is also unavailable .

I love mx player it is a very good app! that I have known for like forever. 🙌🏾🙌🏾 It literally brings out videos with issues and fix them up, sometimes it’s going to tell you building a front cache 👌🏾to fix videos with issues. Give it the time. I really recommend it for anyone who’s having difficulties in he’s or her use of a certain kind of video. It is so so good!!
Painful see so many ads also most of the times ads will just stuck after see so many ads. In a break after a few mins 3 ads appear and after finishing 3rd ad, within 2-3 secs, another ad will appear and then next ad will stuck. After restarting video, again same series watch 3 ads, 2-3 sec video and then 2nd ad will stuck. There is no use of clearing cache. Internet speed is also not an issue as other apps and YouTube’s with same speed we can watch videos. Pathetic experience.
I’ve been using this app for a very long time and I haven’t had any issues with it but lately it has been giving me problems. For example, I’m watching a series and after watching one episode, when it moves to the next episode it only displays black screen but I can still hear the sound of the movie. It is until I go back and press the episode again that it shows normally. I don’t understand why it has been like that lately, please fix this. This has been my best video app so far😑😪might switch
It’s been a great app. But after the update, whenever i play videos it’s all stretched into full screen no matter what the original aspect ratio of the video. So for most videos the proportions are off and it’s really bugging me and i don’t know how to fix it. The custom aspect ratio option doesn’t work.
No issues application was better for use. But now it is worst application for watching movies and webseries. Lots of advertisements. You will be boreing after use it. If you want to ignore the advertisement, you can’t download movie or series without subscription. And if you want to watching online after every 2-3 minutes you can see 2-3 advertisement. This type lots of advertisements you can’t in other platforms.
As an OTT platform, might be nice, but as a video player, it sucks. Downloaded some external video using MX Player. And that video cannot be played by any other players. I wanted to Chromecast that video to my android TV from my mobile inside MX Player, it played well, but there is no option to forward backward seek. If I want to continue watching video from where I paused last time, it will start over again and I cannot pull my seekbar. Do something for Chromecast users
Used to be great. It was a 5 star app all the way. But you hit pause a new video ad will play almost every single time. The old ads that would pop up on the screen when you would hit pause that were static Were nowhere near as bad. There are ads on the menu screen when you’re searching for your videos ads on the video screen when you hit pause and ads if you turn the phone and change aspect ratios and they’re unskippible. 1/2 the time when you close them it takes you to the store page anyway.
Stop with these ads, I’m sick of it, or atleast make them short or just bring the skip option just as the ad starts or within seconds, it’s annoying how ads pop up every time I click on back button I have to wait for it to end, I have to close the app becuase I can’t skip the ad. It has just made the app worse man, please fix it ASAP!
For years this has been my go to player, absolutly perfect every time. No longer the case. Audio & video out of sync and many times video does not play at all. What gives? I don’t think all the fault lies with the player as streaming vid online like Facebook and you tube or even commercials are doing the same. But I have switched players and am having success. So it isn’t my device either.
Sorry, It was a good player, but after many updates. Its become bad. There’s alot of ads. Its very disturbing every time want to change video we have to wait for the ads. When playing video im unable to fast foward the video it keeps stuck in the same time. Ex. I its 01:30 i want to skip foward to 01:40 or 01:50 it cant. Its keep coming back to 01:30
Seriously, this app is losing my rating now. Since a month now, every time I’m watching a movie, the screen stops while the movie continues only to fast forward itself (video) to match the sound after 5sec. And bringing it back 100 times still won’t solve it. I’m waiting for new update to address this if not I’m going to remove it. Not to mention ads taking over your own phone and you can’t do anything about it.
ADS!! ADS!! ADS!! This used to be a good app for watching videos but the new management is apparently GREEDY!! Getting hit with commercials every time I close a video in addition to the usual “static” ads. I am going to uninstall and see if I can find a better app. Oh and the fact that the app still doesn’t support MKV files (natively) after all these years should tell you something. They don’t care. They are obviously milking it for every drop.
Used to be the go to app but not anymore now that the ads are just too much to bare… As soon as I paused a video, I’m forced to watch a 30sec unskippable ad and literally almost anything you do from pausing to the selection menu would give you unskippable ads… I know it’s free and all but this will ultimately make it worse if the timing of the ads disrupts the user’s experience… Take VLC for example…
I would rate 5 stars but there isn’t even an option to pay to disable ads. Ads are annoying. My eyes burn in the middle of the night if I try to pause a video because the ads are FULL brightness somehow. That’s insane to me. I’d rate 5 stars if I could even just pay to get rid of them.
It’s not MX Player it’s Ad Player! Whenever I open a show it’s not the show it’s the ad which comes first and comes each and every 2 mins is this show in ads or ads in show!? Very bad experience! Don’t tell me now to buy your stupid Gold Subscribtion! Once this was my favourite player and now it’s useless for online web shows! It’s ridiculous! Very bad app
. it was the best player out there then, simple to use, yet capable and AD. free. No stupid updates that not only change the settings,but also the placement within the settings.. a bit like Facebook does. Money must be made , i get that. But i dont want to pay for an app that gets so many setting and layout changes with every , (update) only when something needed a fix it got updated. And it was great. IF it aint broken Dont FIX it !
I’m using this app for more than 7-8 years, it’s very friendly and easy to use. A lot of web series are available here for which one have to pay but here it’s totally free of cost. Only you have to pay for MX Gold, but there too you can watch many exciting movies or web shows full of suspense, drama, thriller, crime and much more…. Thanks
Mx player was my most loved app. But now i am facing problem. Whenever i try to pause the video to read the containt or subtitle. the video goes some second back. because of which i am not able to read. Before i read the containt, the video goes second back and complete frame gets changed. So i have to use another app.
This app is hands down best media player app, all companies gave up on including a video player on their devices. Now their effort should be rewarded, you can’t expect them to work for free, either ads or just pay $5 for it. Simple
Veryyyyyyyyyyy bad version updated now in MX player, previously I’m able to open any video link from telegram in MX video player without any problem. But now if I’m clicking any video link in telegram to open in MX player, it’s routed MX player home page. And do nothing. It’s not showing video streaming of link click. Veryyyyyyyyyyy bad version. It’s not deserve single star also
I always liked this, one of the first apps i install whenever get a new phone. The older versions used to be more stable however nowadays not so much. Not sure if it’s my hardware or not, but sometimes it stops playing in the hardware mode, only after restarting it gets resolved, also bring back the option pausing when asking whether to continue a video where it’s left off, right now it keeps playing.
Disappointed backwards step Mx player was brilliant until I did a update, the old Mx player after you watched a video on my Android 9 TV box, you could select the video by holding down the ok centre button, use the down key on the centre rocker to access the bottom edit, delete options, now you can no longer do that unless you switch to mouse mode to press delete. Why have you removed that feature? Dam annoying! Tempted to use another player, lots saying the same thing on forums
Content is Nice Here. But i don’t know why I can’t play this app on web on my android TV. Means all goes great i can see Home Page as well but if you play the Show or Film you want, they even get started playing but when a Ad is appear….Uff the bug is Great MX Player..!! . Ad got stucked and can’t be played and as we all know they give you unskip able ads. But What the F i do when the ad is not playing.
Thank you for MX player. I use Mx player to watch my movies. But after every 30sec an ad pops up. When you pause your movie, it comes up, when you press the back button it comes up again. We understand these ads fund you, but it’s becoming an harassment, the number of ads on that app alone. Please do something about it. You’re doing a good job developers, but you can do better!
I remember few years back it was A pretty good app but now it’s such A worst one….. The ads are literal problem you get ads every 10min (3ads) , and it’s stuck and when I have refresh i get ads again , I uninstalled it as soon as that movie experience. Don’t download it it’s no good and the entertainment is lost.
Initial reaction: Great! Uninstalled FX Player (long ads and crashes a lot). VLC sucks at SMB. This one does audio and video, just like I want. Update later if problems arise. After much use, the GUI is poor. Needs lots 9f changes! Connection and playback is solid.
The old version of mxplayer was better for download videos. In the old version, it was easy to download videos. Because earlier when we had to download episodes of a show, we used to download all the episodes together by going to the option of view all episodes, but now we have to open the episodes one by one and start downloading them. In the new version, the separate portion of mxvdesi is given, only one is fine and nothing else. And we are very irritated by the ads..
Constantly crashes on my A13 device, upon start. Clearing cache or uninstalling and installing again didn’t help. Other than that, the best video player available, except for the small detail of always needing newer codecs… If it weren’t for that I’d certainly buy the pro version.
I understand that the advertisements are necessary but they are starting at interval of every 2 minutes, each time 3 advertisents play out of which 2 exact same advertisements play but in different language and the 3rd advertisement also keeps playing repeating… Advertisements are so repetitive that I have memoriesed each one of them…
Lately I’m not enjoying this app. The screen just stops on it’s own and when it comes back on, it doesn’t move accordingly again no matter how many times I fast forward. I even deleted the app and downloaded again, still the same thing.
It is one of the best applications for watching movies and series But if the dark mode part of the program is automatic, it is much better The next thing is to customize the font inside the program like the phone font I hope it will be completed in the next update Thankful
I watched lots of k drama and anime sometimes I have to pause the video so I can read the subtitles after few seconds I pause the video it just skip back forward few seconds every time it just annoying. If you don’t understand what I’m trying to say let me explain (I pause a video 30:45 sec read subtitles after few seconds it skip back forward like 30:41 sec automatically) please fix the problem as soon as possible it’s really annoying it’s making me to leave MX player.
It is an amazing app i really enjoyed it but the only problem is that there are many adds . While watching a video adds always irritates me . Well excluding adds it is a good app . Recently when I watch videos some videos do not work
The app is good in all forms with good audia video features but an audio format EAC3 need to be added, it’s used in most of the movies these days .There are also some of the bugs resulting in hanging the device alot while going back during the playing video. It’s been a long time I think we should get into another app…this hangsss sooo much.. useless
A much-using app. Great work from the developers. A very good player but one thing is embarrassing or should say harassment, too many ads pop up when you enter the app ads come when you play something ads appear when you pause and resume ads pop up. Too much harassment that is. I request the team please do something about it. Thanks for your service
I don’t know what is up with MX Player these days. I gave this app 5 stars for years. I don’t mind advertising before watching or when finnished a movie or tv program. Now for some reason the player wants to stop working and then start over when on Chromecast to watch a ad??? Disappointing.
Too many ads way too many any action you take on the app you get an ad some are unskipable you had to close the app and open it again. I don’t mind the ads since the app is free but there should reduce it and make them skipable
All features are awesome in local player, but one thing that is adjust the playback control interface with the mobile screen. I think you are not understanding my problem, so I will email you with screenshot.
