Credit Card Stolen and Misused! I’ve been using this app for years and never had any issues, including cashing out all the cashback credits. But that one time i activated its paylater function (which required me to link my credit card), my card got stolen and misused for 4 times in a day, totalled up to USD100! They definitely need to improve on their security.

Installed and login with my existing phone number, got the verification code via sms and it auto fill in, but when skip or continue setup the biometric it prompt me the error message written that something is not correct please try again later. Sometimes they just do not honour their cash back deal with claims that they did not detect the click through shopback. Worse is with the promo code timing and application; I was on the dot to use code and it was not available. Then I tried again to see that the code was fully redeemed. Ya right…..

Such a great concept. Only started using in 2021 June. Definitely great use to get cashback off purchase. Some of the purchase I made have been through Myers, Rebel Sports, Cotton On Group, First Choice Liquor and will be booking my accommodation through the shopback app/extension.

There’s a category for electronics in paylater but I can’t access that. I had to go into lifestyle and travel and even then I only see one merchant. Previously hoolah made it easy for anyone to access the electronics category. Very poor UI interface

You can’t withdraw the money you have saved. I tried to withdraw the money multiple times and after 10 days of waiting, it’s only shows the result “transaction failed because incorrect bank info” while my bank info in the app is already verified. What a scam!

The last transaction was May 2022, but I have purchased monthly, and they will reject if the amount is bigger for cashback, but they approve it .5 cents. Their is no detail on my current purchase, and it is a very slow process of cash back.

I then click maybe later and then get nothing but blank screen. Either way, it’s been blank screen all the way. Reading the reviews, I’d concur that this is a dodgy app… buggy at best. Giving a bit.ly feedback link which scammers like to use just seals it for me. Uninstalling.

Had no problems with the PayLater feature with Hoolah until this app took over. Now, i cant even use that feature anymore in this app due to some “error” that magically pops up when i want to use the installment feature. Why did yall buy over Hoolah in the first place? If it aint broke, dont try and “fix” it

I can’t even get this app to run on my Huawei p30 Pro. It’ll either freeze after the logo or tell me I have a faulty connection or simply refuse to refresh & gives me a blank page. It still won’t work after multiple re-installs & cache clears. As of now, this app is a 1 star experience for me.

Great app until now, I bought a gift card that I can’t use so contacted binge who have been useless for 2 weeks so I contacted shopback who said they would look into but but it might take until the card expires to get back to me! Seriously what a waste of $50 I wanted a refund since I haven’t been given what I bought I will be involving consumer affairs if this isn’t sorted in the next few days beyond unhappy. (Update) It’s now been 5 weeks and still no access or refund.

Damn funny that the app failed to capture spending on high value purchase but small value is ok. All these done on same setting and same time. Probably shopback don’t want to pay for the return and keep it themselves. Bunch of paupers!

to all: when purchase online vouchers like grab food voucher – do not leave it till going to expire then use. cuz ShopBack app will force you to make it as used even though you haven’t even use it before!!! the app will keep prompting you that you have already used and the food app does not recognise the promo code at all!!!

Not as user-friendly as Atome. I recently wanted to use this app for a purchase but it was rejected for no good reason Reminders for payment are sent to my email. For what? I don’t check my email regularly and I ended up paying late. I’m deleting this app.

Great concept, particularly the ability to search products for comparing cashback in-app; however, the in-app browser for making on-line purchases is very clunky and slow making ShopBack difficult to use on one’s mobile – compared to the extension for desktop browser which works almost seamlessly. Hopefully one day this app will be optimised appropriately, until then it is still worthwhile albeit frustrating.

Generally like the app and the cashback deals. However, sometimes cashbacks aren’t automatically tracked for some reason, making it rather cumbersome to constantly keep track. Also, the cashback validation time can be ridiculously slow. i.e. 3-5 months for certain activities. Hotel bookings for one, take 150 days.

Overall I find the app fantastic however it can sometimes be a little difficult to navigate through and find what I want. The old version was much simpler. In saying that, I use it often and love it!

After updating new version 4.18.0 almost every time checking notification it got crashed, can’t tap back and needed to force close the application and start again. Please fixed this issue, thanks.

Terrible. Shopback won’t link either my bank account or PayPal for withdrawal money, just keeps saying click on verification email, which I never receive. I went through the support centre, which was useless just told me there is no problem try a different email, although they were emailing me on the same email! There is no option to update details and change email either.

I’m making money on things i would purchase anyway, without any extra effort. Although it takes a little time for it to be processed, it does build up quickly. Great way to put that little extra away to treat yourself or for Christmas. Love this app!

Get cash back for things you’re buying anyway! I love it, and use the Chrome extension also. I use it mostly to purchase things I was planning to get anyway, as opposed to “browsing the app”. I enjoy the pop up offers too though as they’re often relevant to things I need. I’ve recently discovered vouchers on shopback which is great too!

Support at Shopback is really really really really terrible. I have so many missing cashback transactions n no one ever resolve it. They will show the cashback % buy when I purchase it is not real

Can the dev team include a note on which cards are not available at the add payment card page? (1) Grabpay card is not accepted for paylater because it is a prepaid card. Fine, but I already topped up money to that card (which cannot be withdrawn) before finding out via a popup at the payment screen. (2) Amex card is not accepted because it is not issued by a local bank. Again, not mentioned until I found out via a popup at the add payment card screen.

Naturally I contacted their support, they replied a day later when the cashback amount was changed lower to 2%. Luckily, I took a screenshot at the time of when I bought the monitor to argue my case. Still awaiting their reply. I shouldn’t have to do this in the first place. What is shown at time of purchase, should be what is given.

it works well before when im still using my old phone now i have a newer it just stopped working and keeps on having problems and keeps giving messages that its their fault and all plus i cant do transfer the savings i have to my bank accounts. hope this bug will be fix soon. it is really a great app! and i have recommended it to my friends.

I cant contact the support. I reached the withdrawable limit but they always reject it. Also they wont give me a verification link to verify my payment method.
