Honestly I had such high hopes when I came across this game. I’ve been a huge ninja turtles fan for years. When I open the game it’s stretched and distorted, only the cutscene looks normal. I made it to unlocking karai on like the second battle and it gets stuck when Leo says how he is a spirit character. I’ve tried everything to progress the battle but it stays stuck on this part. This game has been out for awhile and I have a fairly new phone. Don’t understand what the issue is. So very disappointed that I’ll be missing out on this game.
Ninja Turtles FTW!!! Right!? Well, kinda… the interface is an eyesore, the controls are rather unintuitive, and the automatic feature for campaign levels isn’t quite automatic enough so you spend most of your time watching teams that aren’t quite the Turtles you really wanna play with… it just doesn’t feel, to me, as rewarding as other turnstyle collector games out there… there are a few elements that make for great nostagia, though!
Listen, the game is fun, the game is great. IF I CAN ACTUALLY PLAY IT. I can literally not play this game because it keeps kicking me out saying: “Legends Has Stopped” and it’s pissing me off. No matter how many times I power off, close the app, uninstall it then reinstall it, or restart my phone it doesn’t work.
Crashes constantly. This should have been, and could have been, an awesome game. But with it crashing every few minutes, it’s unplayable. There’s been a few times where i can play for close to an hour, but most of the time, it quits soon after I start. And though the game asks you all the time for money, it hasn’t been updated in over a year. From what i can play, I really like the Gauntlet mode. But that’s about it.
Overall, it’s a good game. It’s a decent leveling system, story is good, graphics and animations are well done. However, it’s very glitchy. I have had several occassions where the game crashes, and I have to completely restart my phone before it will stop playing the game music over everything else I’m doing, including after I close the game (which I can only do by closing it from the home screen). Fix the crashing bugs, and this will be a solid game.
Way to much updating. Everytime I try to play I have to wait for updates. Not a few a lot. Some go through sometimes during the 10 min plus it glitches and has to do a redo. I don’t have slow internet. Not sure what needs so much constant updating. Uninstalling now. Will come back after some time for another go. The game is fun. Wish it was fixed.
This game could be phenomenal, however, there is a problem that makes it virtually unplayable. For whatever reason, the on screen buttons are unresponsive. I clicked on the screen to switch enemies multiple times and it wouldn’t switch. It’s very difficult to switch between menus as well. I will not uninstall yet. Maybe there’s a simple fix.
I’m a huge TMNT fan. I really like the game but it is a bit “grindy”. Overall I definitely think it was worth the download. Edit: I still love the game but they haven’t updated it in almost 2 years now. Really wish you would update it and add the newer characters or add more missions. Support is no longer existant and haven’t heard any news. Afraid the game is finally dead.
Gameplay looks next level. Collection of characters is astronomical. Let’s talk about the menu controls…. I’m so so excited to start ripping into this glossy, glittery piece of TMNT nose candy, however if by intent, or accident, the menu navigation is very glitchy, and not very responsive. I know this will get figured out, I hope. But until it does, its keeping an already better than average game from realizing it’s full potential.
It’s so cool and awesome the graphics are so good plus I like the theme song with the game it doesn’t take up a lot of storage. Plus if you need to update it. You could play a mini game while you’re waiting for it to update love the graphics and add more heroes. And last thing is I like the controls I just got this game now and it has blown my mind thank you Ludia thank you.
The game’s pretty good all things considered. My biggest detractions are PvP and the grind. I’m used to grinds in mobile games, I play Fate Grand Order and have for over a year now. The problem here is that when a place drops an item it drops ONE of that item, MAYBE. In other games, such as FGO, drops can happen multiple at a time. You might get nothing for several attempts and then get three or four of that item at once. In this game, the drops feel more frequent, but they’re always one. Need 16 training bags to level up four skills? Great, get ready to farm a node with those bags a minimum of 16 times. This is because drops are tied to stage and not enemies. Which wouldn’t be too much of a problem, except your levels are capped by your maximum player level, and getting EXP for that is like pulling teeth. A fight against enemies two levels higher than your team? 16 xp out of 300 to get a single level. The achievements are clearly where all the real XP gains are, getting 100-200 in some cases early on. Then there’s PvP, which I’ll just say is very typical of a F2P game and if you like PvP, get ready to drop wads of cash on the game. Because you don’t get characters by just buying packs (only one pack does that and it can give you 3 star characters probably most commonly) you have to collect “DNA” for them. A 5 star character needs 70 DNA just to get, and you’ll probably need 3 times that (I only have one) to put them up to their maximum potential. That means buying many many many card packs HOPING you get the one that’s really useful. And in my short climb up the ladder I’ve seen some characters that are just absolutely busted. Sure is good when the guy with a three level disadvantage uses a single ability and gets full HP, an attack, and speed buff. The long story short is that the game is very grind heavy, incredibly slow, I’m currently hard stuck on chapter 4 because my team needs to be 2 levels higher just to match the current enemy layout, but you get XP so slowly I’m sitting on 10 max level characters (for my level) farming for days just to make one step of progress. If you’re not down to farm for the rest of eternity, probably not the game for you. Unless you really like TMNT and have a disposable income.
Love this game… but I think we need new content such as characters and story missions. And I have an issue where the game crashes when in the tournaments bit and not to mention the prices are ridiculously high (You would probably have to spend over £80 for a 3 star pack). One more issue is that when you reach player level 50-70 it’s really hard to level up characters, I can only level up 1 character per day (I’m level 60). If you can continue to develop this game that would be really great 🙂
This game is great. It’s fun to login everyday and see what new events there are. My problem is that the game is too time consuming taking way too long to boost characters to new abilities. It’s also annoying how if a character only has 1ability they can only go to level 20. It makes the game more stressful becausey it means you have to boost them which is way too time consuming. Also everything is so overpriced. If you want to buy a new ability for your character it’s $13! It’s Insane.
A cool game with a nice turn-based battle system. I think log in multiple times a day to do the PvP tournaments, which I really enjoy. Trying to get certain materials and DNA can get a bit grindy, but I don’t mind since I can auto-play the levels I’ve already completed. I’m aware this game no longer has any content updates, but it’d be cool if it was picked up again sometime later in the future, now that we have a new TMNT series currently being aired.
Nice turn-base TMNT game with great music, simple control and friendly UI. Gameplay is somewhat repetitive on majority of its level and lack sfx. The main issue players should note is it keeps re-downloading data (depending on phone settings) from time to time and no content update anymore. Fortunately, the best part is that you don’t have to pay anything if you’re patient enough. I recommend it to anyone who like this type of game and a must for any TMNT fans.
Overall the game is pretty good, a little repetitive, but good. Im giving it 3 stars because when an opponent gets low on life and i damage them with 200+ damage, their health bar doesn’t go down at all. This happens almost every round. With the damage I do to them they should die most of the time. Instead their health bar stays the same and they hit me again or they replenish health when they should of been dead. I lost some rounds because of this. Besides that the game is good. Fix this glitch
The game is fun, but there are a few things that are a bit annoying. This game is a very big grind for exp and mutagen. There should be easier ways for beginners. It’s very annoying that we can only grind for a limited time due to pizza. It really makes it difficult to grind and get better. There should also be a simple way on the homepage to reset all my progress. Because I contacted them, and my progress was never reset. When I un-install this game and re-install it, the progress is kept.
Should get more stars, but has some problems: First, there are so sound effects. It’s on, but nothing – no foot steps, explosions, or voices. Just music. Also, I barely survived the gauntlet, excited to reach the end of it, and there was an option to go on? Go on? Ok… Now the gauntlet is impossible. There should be an option to go back to the previous gauntlet – not fun. The only game I’ve played that makes all characters somewhat always useful. That’s nice.
Cool seeing all my favorite TMNT characters along with the references to that universe. However, it’s too manual for a legit autoplay game. The auto battle function has to be set each level. You can’t set it to complete a level multiple times so it all takes a lot longer than it should because you have to tap battle, choose your characters, tap battle, tap auto, tap the screen to collect your goodies, each and every time. Not to mention the “free” trial membership with every free resource pack.
Could easily deserve more stars. This is a fun game. But i feel as you progress its not a smooth gradual progression. Levels seem to go from easy to impossible in a single stage. Daily quest is perfect example of this. Also at the begining you can level up at a steady pace. Seems at 10 it practically comes to a hault. Unless the intention here is to only attract short term players id say things such as this need to change. Deleted. Bye for now. Maybe ill give it another go down the road.
Pretty much everything looks good, controls are nice, an auto battle for grinding… But the one thing I don’t get is the sound… More exact the sound effects… at the start Leonardo doesn’t even have attack sounds or healing sounds, and some enemies don’t even have attach sounds, like the Krang and Blaster fire… This game would be higher but the sfx is poor at best… And I have an S9 plus so unless it’s a phone issue… I shouldn’t have sfx issues, please fix and I’ll rate higher.
The game is really good no problems only when i have to download the story but i don’t have good service but other than that it’s great the game has all the characters the graphics are excellent and the characters look perfect. One thing though and this is a question not a complaint shinigami had gloves in the show but in the game she doesn’t, theres nothing wrong with that i was just wondering. But this game is really good i soo recommend downloading it.👍👍
I really like this game. The characters, artwork, events, and story are awesome. I’m not able to play anymore all it does is to download additional files and it freezes I’ve tried many times to redownload the additional update still having same issue. I’ve wasted quite a bit of time trying to redownload and still not able to play like I used to.
Its entertaining, the characters are all pretty cool looking. I have 2 major complaints. I really dislike how there are no sound effects for any attacks. 3 runs per hard mode lvl is not enough, imo 5 is where it should be. Overall it’s a pretty cool game. !!DEVS!! Keep working on it and don’t ignore good feedback and the game can be great. Ty love ninja turtles.
It’s not any different from other turn based battler game. Game could use some balancing with the characters. Biggest problem is that when you hit level 30 it’s too difficult to level up without paying. Also, when you buy card packs, the randomizer is terrible. Even when they promised a good 5 star character, you are not able to get one.
Great game for casual players! Want a game that doesn’t cost much and has a LOT of great characters? This is what you want to play. Seriously, it’s amazing. You won’t feel like you’re constantly playing catch-up, you can actually make progress and just enjoy using your favorite Turtles characters! Seriously, if you’re a TMNT fan of the original comics, the first cartoon or the 2012 series, this is THE BEST TMNT game you can play!
I’ve played this game for a Little more than a year now and I enjoy it very much, but once everything is done like getting all of the characters at max including their skills and completing the story, it gets a little boring after a while ya know? Maybe if it’s possible perhaps we can get a new update with some new characters, like the mutant apocalypse, just a suggestion other than that it’s a great game
Most of the negative reviews are from people who don’t understand the game, like how people of lower level can kill them, they just haven’t gotten their cheaters upgraded, the game is really good, sometimes progress is a bit slow but going back through previous lebks to get drops is still fun, and there’s a bunch of content that isn’t the main story mode, it’s pretty cool, and there’s new challenges each week, although there may not be new ones, they’re still fun! Love this game and this show👍
This game is super fun. The only thing I don’t like is that when I watch the ads for the free packs, energy, mutagen, and blue cards I never receive all of the stuff. I just now watched all the ads and didn’t receive a single free item. Other than that, it’s amazing and would be 5 stars but it’s really annoying watching ads I don’t want to watch and not receive anything.
The game is ok it just needs like a way to save your progress using a login using your google account because I for some reason have to uninstall the game when it has a new update which sucks and it need like more auto stuff like auto upgrade and auto open or auto buy. And the Google play thing never saves my progress on the game.
This game is really good and I like how much detail and characters from all of the tmnt series but as soon as I downloaded it after all my data got erased on that game I tried again and it was pretty good one small note. The audio in the game is worse when I originally played 2 months like the swords make sound but the enemies basic and melee attacks have no sound plz fix and it’ll ba a 5 star for sure
One of the worst cash grab games ever made. Everything you do will cost you real money. Level up is extremely slow. You want new characters and don’t have 10 days to collect enough in game cash pay real money. Want more instant complete level passes. Pay real money because you only get 8 after 3 days. Lol you love the turtles just buy the real game please.
It’s a good game but the lack of diversity in the beginning with what characters you can get is lacking. Let’s be real, we want to play with characters we love and a lot of these one off background characters make the game less enjoyable to start. I see how much I’m gonna have to grind just to get and decent characters I wanna play with and it’s a little much for a mobile game that I have to just kill some time with. Also I keep experiencing and issue with the ad packs.
its graphics are good and the game has a good story but the ads are very annoying when you dont get the items and when you click the game it needs internet connection and additional data and i hate the “extra download” sooooooo much my phone is not that laggy and it has 2.5 G.B why!?! please fix or remove it.
this is a very well made game, I just wish there wasn’t a level cap to some characters who have 2 stars on them. Picture this. You just got done with the boss on chapter 4 and your trying to level up your characters to get all the hard modes done, but guess what! 3 beloved characters have a cap that I can’t fix? I don’t have the time for getting more stars! I’ve grinded so hard for these characters to be perfect but there’s a level cap?
Update: I have to lower my rating from 4stars to 2. So reason at this point the last update was in February of 2022, their has been no news, no new content or the removal of the TMNT movie event that is like three years+ old. Seem the game is on autopilot and the developers are MIA. It’s playable but when you max out your characters that’s it. As much as I liked this game I will be walking away.
Great game I love it it’s such a great game and I love you can get a bunch of characters from the different kind of movies and shows and also a great gaming experience and you also have to have strength and tactical ideas to win out in this game the one bad thing I will say is that when you use the watch video cards they should give you like one per watch video but they don’t give you it sometimes
This game is amazing and has so many great things in it. The characters are pretty well made and have many different skills. I wanted to mention, I’ve seen a review saying that someone doesn’t receive the free rewards from ads. The same thing happens to me, but reappears in my mailbox (bottom left, next to characters). Good game I don’t usually play games especially on my phone apart from this game. I do sometimes find it frustrating because sometimes especially on the challenges the enemies get to have around 10 shots at a time to my one so I get 2/3 shots to there 10/15 shots. I always beat them with a perfect victory have done all week apart from my last 7 cheese to ky last challenge just before it finishes that’s when it mainly happens. It’s as if it no longer wants me to win. It needs more levels than 7
Absolutely fantastic game, play it all the time, just one thing that saddens me a tiny bit, you can’t play as all the characters in the game, and I always wanted to play with a boss character or a 2012 kraang droid, but either way nice job dude, i always wanted to collect dna for the mushroom men, cockroaches, or pretty much any unplayable character in the game, just please make them playable, but either way, keep up the good work this is an awesome game.
