    No good just showing all destinations. Needs to narrow down by where you can actually get to from one stop. Several searches attempted with 0 results. No map. Tried using the website which does have the map facility but impossible as the mobile site does not display properly making it impossible to even fill out the form to search for a journey.

    Disappointed that there is no time tables showing. You have to physically attempt to book a ticket before seeing what is possible. Sometimes you just want to see schedules especially when planning trips and then decide which time and date you would like to travel. Also when you purchase a ticket you need another app, a google or apple wallet to store your boarding pass. It should be available actually on the National Express Coach app itself. W

    Use to work really well (except not being able to book more than one trip at a time but I think they do that so you have to pay £1 fee per booking), now I can’t even open it. Constantly crashes. Such a shame and really frustrating. NE are lucky UK train services are an even more over priced mess…

    You dont even have the option to log in. The app just says you have no tickets and asks you to book one. The only way I’ve seen an option to view my tickets is on the ‘Coach Tracker’ feature, which downloaded them in some sort of proprietary pkpass format. Furthermore, after simply pressing back after doing so the app has now crashed and crashes every time I try to reopen it. Every bit as useless as the f****** company that runs it. Also, get rid of VUER from your coaches. It is a joke.

    You dont even have the option to log in. The app just says you have no tickets and asks you to book one. The only way I’ve seen an option to view my tickets is on the ‘Coach Tracker’ feature, which downloaded them in some sort of proprietary pkpass format. Furthermore, after simply pressing back after doing so the app has now crashed and crashes every time I try to reopen it. Every bit as useless as the f****** company that runs it.     it was very good until they recently changed the app. everything is so bad now, the app is slow, it’s not recognizing your post code, it’s taking forever to load ( that’s how I end up buying a ticket twice) , its not saving your personal details so every time you will get a ticket you need tu out your name surname email post code etcetc over and over. if you are in a rush you can’t rely on this app anymore. it used to be quick and efficient, now it’s totally opposite totally disappoint

    Absolutely awful, not even worthy of one star. The app won’t even open. Instead, a message appears stating that it won’t open. It’s not one occasion, multiple occasions and different devices. This confirms an app error not a device error. Hope their physical service isn’t as bad as this!!!

    The app used to work fine for me and I really liked it, it made travel easier, but now out of nowhere I cannot open the app. It goes to a blue screen and won’t open! It’s been this way for around a month. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, restarted my device, cleared cache, but it still does this.

    I always use apps where possible for travel tickets, I’m not sure I’ll be using this one again. Firstly, I generally have to transfer to another coach at some point, once the first driver scans the app, the ticket disappears for the next part of the journey so I had to load up the email (in an area with bad signal which took ages) secondly, not all drivers accepted see the app ticket and asked for the email anyway, seem like a pointless app for that. However booking is very straightforward.

    A great app for people who don’t mind traveling slightly faster than a snail. I call it relaxing. Others will call it all sorts of negative things. But coach travel is generally slow and tedious but when you have a car that needs fixing and there’s no other cost effective option, and if you’re not in a rush for a business meeting it can very very enjoyable. So accept coach travel for what it is; a comfortable and relaxed way to travel.

    Didn’t see the summary option when booking a ticket and thought that l would have the option to review my booking prior to making payment. It cost me £5.00 extra as a consequence. When l booked again, l clicked on the summary button to check my travel arrangements. This app would be improved if the travel details were automatically brought up prior to payment, giving the option to change or confirm travel dates, times and destinations.

    Used to work perfect, till about September, since then it’s just useless, can’t load all the coaches, if I eventually manage to find a ticket and try to purchase, it ask me to add all of my personal and bank details, every time, and quite often their server run out of time as the app connection 8s so slow, so i have to reinsert my details few times, that takes me half an hour or even more, unacceptable. I’m uninstalling it.

    Despite all the bad reviews, I find it works OK once you get used to it. Selecting From/To/times works well, although a return ticket might be confusing the first time. A good Booking Summary is shown if you tap on ‘Booking Summary’ just above the ‘Pay with card’ button! You only log in after you’ve chosen your bus times. Would be nice to have a ‘view password’ button. Then it fills your name in for you but you have to enter address details yourself everytime, as well as payment details (maybe not so bad from a security point of view, but most apps do it for you). You have to switch occasionally between the upper part of the screen and the lower part (which slides in and out of view). Not always clear what you should be doing, or where. The app reacts (very) slowly sometimes and if you tap on a button twice, you may find you’ve actually made a selection on the following screen. After booking I had to download the ticket myself, after which it was shown correctly in My Bookings. I recommend doing a few dummy bookings without paying, to get the hang of it. After that, using the app OK. So to summarise, not bad, but could be more user friendly in places.

It sends you in endless loops and wow betide if you try to add coach cards for multiple passengers. The bottom line, this is an app to book coach tickets and it fails miserably. Spent 30 wasted minutes attempting a simple return journey and IT FAILED repeatedly. Didn’t get past the timetable search. Sorry but this just rubbish. Do you actually want our business?

Tickets bought are not kept, you have to manually search for them.     Unfortunately, the app doesn’t work well at all. It’s very slow on both new phones that we have and when we came to pay, it didn’t work at all. The PayPal login also didn’t work after we’d failed to pay by card, telling us that the browser was too old to run the login. All in all, a very poor experience!

    Waste of time for anything other than displaying ticket for travel which you can do just as easily via emails. All booking management has to be done via the website, can’t even book your return on an open return ticket via the app. Very disappointing and really don’t see the point of using the app at all.

    Its a very bad app. It looks like the webpage is embedded in the app. The app is just the same like the webpage. Both are slow and not usable. The app cache wrong data. Sometimes pages/windows of the search results closes automatically and goes to the start page. This app driving me crazy. After my flight was cancelled, I had to amend my booking from abroad. All I got was the circle of death, couldn’t find my booking to make the changes. When it finally let me in, it was too late to do anything. Get a decent technical team.

I then continued through the purchasing process only to be met with a notice that read “We are sorry we are currently experiencing technical issues…. “. So I went to the ticket office and bought a ticket from a human being where I wasn’t charged the £1 booking fee! What is the point of this app??

    Been using National Express for a long time, I noticed on their app there is no No Log In/Sign Up function, Booking Fee of £1 should be waived because the function doesnt exist. It is better to use their desktop site to make booking where you can log in and the booking fee will be waived. There are lots of improvement that needs to be done on this app. There are areas that are quite confusing and makes the use of this app as a nightmare.

    There doesn’t seem to be a way to log in to the app like there is when accessing the website via a browser. The app also won’t allow me to add a future booking despite the booking number and the email address definitely being right; it just keeps saying “Connection error” 🤔🤦🏻‍♂️

    App no longer retrieves tickets after booking and just shows a generic error box with no info when trying to add a ticket manually. Since it just goes to the website in the app anyway and can’t view tickets, the app is absolutely useless! Even the coach time tracker gives an error and doesn’t work

    Unable to add bookings to the app. Previously, booking made in the app showed up automatically under “MY BOOKINGS”, now they do not show up, and when I try to add it manually, all I see is the unhelpful message “Connection error”.

    Used to work fine, now coach tracker also throws an Unauthorised screen when trying to access. The ability to store payment cards would be good as well. Overall works ok but have failed to get payment through several times.

    Can I suggest you call this app “National Express” in its filename. It comes up as “Coach” when I search for it in my phone. Took me 10 minutes to find it by searching as nothing shows in my phone for “National Express”. Also, I can’t find my registration email address in the app. I wanted to change it, so I asked the main website to send new a password to all my email addresses as I can’t recall which one I signed up with and it’s not showing in app. it didn’t recognise any of them.

    Was trying to book tickets but the app kept refusing to search, saying that was nothing leaving at the time I need to even though your website shows there is and the searches kept freezing and going blank blue screen. Very frustrating, am.givjng up and book on website instead

    I had a terrible experience with this app. The coach tracker simply wouldn’t work. It kept saying it couldn’t verify the user although I used the email and ticket number from the booking. As my bus to the airport was a bit late it did give me a bit of stress! So I only used it to show the qr code which I could have done straight from the booking email.

As a result, despite reaching the original pickup point about an hour earlier, I missed my bus. I was bluntly refused any refund/compensation or the possibility to reuse my ticket. The app in principle has all the data to be able to trigger an email or an app based notification. It is a matter of poor design, sub optimal use of technology and complete apathy to towards the customer

    One big flaw is that a previous trip is classified as something where it has already departed. So if you’ve booked a ticket with a transfer you have to find it in previous tickets. Which I always forget as I’m always using this app jetlagged to hell and back Change the previous trips to be the highest time found on the booking and it’ll be better

    Really really worst ever experience I booked a returned ticket from Newport to Leeds. They deducted the money from account and apologized ny saying that there is a technical issue. And after that I have called them for 100 times but no customer care person was available. Really really very worst service. Disappointed. Tha hell 👎👎👎

    It’s been third week I am still unable to book my coach it shows some error at the end. I have almost tried booking it in 4 different phones still same error. I am a student and need to book it every week besides I have a coach card still I have to book it from third party website which is like double of the price. When I went to the staff at the coach station they said they can’t do anything just book it from the kiosk. Nx wants us to go to Coach Station and book through the kiosk not the app.

    It’s been third week I am still unable to book my coach it shows some error at the end. I have almost tried booking it in 4 different phones still same error. I am a student and need to book it every week besides I have a coach card still I have to book it from third party website which is like double of the price.     Useless. Doesn’t auto load ticket by account. Doesn’t show routes. Doesn’t add to Google wallet. Just a ticket manager which your email is more than capable of handling without wasting space with this

    Constantly getting messages to say I can’t access my account. I wanted to amend my day of outbound travel but server issues will not allow access, even though all my credentials and information are correct. So frustrating! Doubtful if I will use this company again.

    Ended up giving 1 star has when I’ve looked at available times from 1 to another. It just gives me the earliest time for that day & no other time, that includes at the time I specified on the APP. Will upgrade my stars when I can see at the time that I wanna look at, instead of the 1st one of the day. This review is still valid over a year since I put it on here 07/21

    Terrible! Sign in on your browser it’s much easier: 1) ‘Arrive by’ doesn’t show the full hours when booking in advance. 2) no secure login so none of your details are saved 3) clicking back forgets all your details 4) horrible interface 5) no sync with your phone wallet and general lack of features 6) booking really difficult on the app the website is far easier making the app pointless. 7) you have to look up your ticket number in email to add new tickets as no login. It’s a lot of effort.
