Excellent for anyone who needs support. This is a great network of like minded individuals who are successfully trying to move past dependency.

The nearby straight-up does not work. It’s shows people all over the world as nearby. Please please please can we get a list of notifications. I miss stuff all the time because there is no way to see responses, profile views or replies to posts apart from one quick notification on your phone. Sort it out guys.

it’s ok except you cant do anything with out confirming your mobile number yet never ever sends out a verification code and support never get back to you.. so the app really only half works as a result.

It has changed my life finding this app, it is amazing a month of sobriety and a changed towards drinking alcohol and the other users have been very friendly and supportive. The trigger feature is especially helpful if you are in a desperate situation. I hope this app continues to grow in popularity.

I found this app by accident and what a great accident it was. I have found it to be mostly true that alcoholics are basically shy people. they use alcohol to come out of their shell and be the life of the party and typically the party takes the life out of them. I think this is a wonderful app because people need to be able to relate to others and sometimes we just don’t feel comfortable sitting in a room discussing our personal lives. I will continue to use sober grid great app

Love the app.. hate that it has such a hard time loading constantly. I have to log in/ close out a few times for it to actually load. It’s not my phone as other apps work fine.

I truly appreciate this app. I did not get the love and acceptance in recovery that I was told was there. It made the path difficult for me and everything was unraveling. I started to withdraw from the fellowship and they didn’t even notice. I came here and found truly helpful people and started to believe there are other addicts that care beyond themselves. One that lived close, even came to a meeting with me. Being here let me acknowledge that helpful caring people in recovery exist, even if most of them are far away… Candidly, there are a number of clueless men that message me like it’s a dating app, but that’s the world for ya. I just ignore most and they tend to go away… It’s a small thing to have to ignore for the benefits I get from it. This app is a million times more valuable to scroll than Facebook ever could be.

I do like the app but I just wonder why if I need to provide my phone number even though it states that it will not be shared and access to making and receiving my calls just to make a comment on somebody’s post?!! Absolutely makes no sense to me. So now I just can’t make a comment because I just don’t like handing out my phone number to have a new app access calls and contacts. That sucks!

Better than Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram!! Real people with real challenges bearing it all in an attempt to better themselves physically, spiritually, and mentally. I’ve abandoned or deleted all my other social media apps because the content was garbage, and it didn’t inspire me or felt extremely contrived and void of substance. Sober Grid provides a platform that is not only easy to use but a great way to show support to each other. At the end of the day we can’t do it alone.

Can’t get into app unless you receive a code sent to your mobile number and it wont verify my mobile number. It just keeps saying there is an issue and to try again later. I’m very disappointed and hope this issue gets resolved!

I wish I could give this app 0 stars. My experience on it was not positive. It is heavily dominated by AA members, it really should be called an AA support app, that would be a more accurate way to describe it. The idea was great to connect others in recovery, but when your members are downed for choosing a path that is not AA, makes for a pretty negative experience. I wouldn’t reccomend this app to anyone who has chosen an alternative recovery path.

Has real potential, but crashes often and tech support is not helpful. Maybe it works better on iOS? Unusual to find an app with a permanently broken payment portal. It’s a shame because the social media aspects of support are handled well.

I used this app about 6 months ago and I liked it. I just re downloaded it and it’s a completely different app that now pushes AA and jesus talk into my feed, and 90% of the groups are based around AA. As a buddhist who doesnt even drink/have alcohol addiction it’s pretty useless now. Too bad

This app insists on knowing your location and will not let you search for anyone by city until you allow it access to your location, then when you want to talk to someone it lists everyone that has ever made an account but it doesn’t show you anyone who is actually available. Also, I filtered to only talk to women, apparently you have to filter EVERY time you get on, because it doesn’t save to your profile. Suckish

No stars at all. Crappy app. Can’t change photos , want to delete my account so it’s led mento believe this is a scammers app since i couldn’t add my number to get a code sent to me when i first downloaded the app. A few weeks later now i tried and is asking for 99 bucks a month. Im in sobriety and we was taught to pass the message freely and yall charging an arm and a leg to pass the message. Something wrong with yalls greed.

Great idea, poorly executed. The app needs some serious rework. The screen is sluggish, loads multiple/same posts, hard to refresh. Clunky. It’s probably on someone’s ‘to-do’ list and languishes behind better paying apps.

I like the changes the app is making, but it is even harder to modify your profile, and this bug needs to be fixed. I cant replace my other social media accounts with this app like i want to. Please fix the bug causing it to go back to the top every time you interact with a post.

Downloaded the app, made an account, didn’t like the app, wanted my account deleted. There’s no option for the user to do it, so I contacted the support team. No response of any kind. Would give 0 stars for poor app and poor customer service if I could.

Great app with tons of support from other recovering alcoholoics however the app doesn’t work with wifi. You need to disconnect from wifi in order to see posts and pictures from other members. Not a good thing if others have limited data with their service providers. Needs to be fixed asap.

Getting sclean and sober was no easy task; always feeling like I was alone even in my addiction. With this app I have connected with so many people who were feeling the same way. These courageous people are nothing but positive support and genuine care for their fellow addicts and alcoholics. This has allowed me to become and stay more connected to a sober network of people, regardless of my location.

I feel this app is amazing! The amount of support and the alliance of peers can not be beat. I recommend this app for any individual fighting to achieve sobriety or that just wishes to feel connected to others that are fighting the good fight. Everything is very helpful and the people I’ve talked to are very nice and helpful. The Counselors go out of their way to help me even on wkends or holidays. I greatly appreciate their help. I don’t think I’d be here today without the help they offer. I recommend it to anyone who needs that 24-7 attention cause addiction doesn’t have a time schedule. The stomach pain and craving don’t go away over night but SG is always there if I need it.
