I can’t tell you how much SmartSheet has changed my life when it comes to running a non-profit animal rescue. I’m able to manage volunteers, keep up on appointments for the dogs in our care, automatically import our Google form submissions for potential familes and I could go on and on. The app has improved tremendously since it first launched. It is much easier to navigate complex sheets and having access to everything on the go has been a lifesaver!
Best collaborative project and task manager out there. I’ve integrated it into the last four companies where I’ve worked by just using it there myself. Then others adopt it and it spreads. That is probably because it’s a very familiar interface. The feature set is also just what one needs to be efficient and coordinated. Truly a great app.
I have been using various Project Management tools for over 20years and discovered Smart Sheet in 2014. Since then I have been unable to find anything that is comparable to it. Smart sheet is simple enough for the novice to begin using with very little assistance whilst for a professional it has so many great features and functions its able to power even the most complex of projects. Being fully collaborative and in real time, it allows teams to act on current information. AMAZING!!!
4.8 Stars!!!! It would get 5 stars if it was a little more like Excel from a formula standpoint. However, Smartsheet is extremely powrful fir collected data and being able to make custom forms and for making easy to distribute to people via the phones. Uf you need to collect data in any way and want to be able to gather that data woth your smartphone then this is the app for you.
For the small business division I work for, it has already greatly enhanced the scheduling they have from what it used to be. Almost all of the in house scheduling programs are being replaced by Smartsheet. The app is flexible and able to do a lot with what it has.
works great when it works. There are times, and it seems to be getting more frequent, when I am trying to login and it takes some time and then it spits out an “authentication error” and I can’t login to input time sensitive info for my company… 5 stars if there is a fix for this issue. The issue also includes the website and Logging in there. Server issues most likely.
Very useful tool due to it’s flexibility in being easily formulated to your specific operations. I use it to collect equipment information that we maintain mechanically and to collaborate work/maintenance across all of our Field Technicians (various crews/crafts), there’s so much more available than what I use it for. Dashboards,reporting etc. and it’s all in one easy to read/sort excel type view.
Working in one of the most challenging and evolving environment, Smartsheet has been a great tool to stay on top of all details and progress of our project. The app enabled version and the ability to creat functional reports and have 100s of contributors on the same sheet kept our large team on top of all developments and allowed us to mitigate issues before they became problems and identify bottlenecks in a glimpse. Not allowed to delete my account via app, but of course I was able to create an account very easily within the app. You can’t test anything without registering first. The system to input data is outdated and not very intuitive. User unfriendly.
I’ve been using Smartsheet for about 6 years now, got certified and continue learning more about it everyday. Great management tool and their support always exceeds my expectations. I would definitely recommend Smartsheet for anyone managing a company or a group of people and eat to keep track of their progress, live and anywhere in the world where you have data on your phone, tablet or computer. Nice app…but to me as freelance THE big issue is that the cool features i need come with business plan which price is a bit on the high end compare to other tools on the market…but I could live with that because I like using the tool but what is totally off is that if you want business license features you need to subscribe at least three licenses even if you only need one (roughly 100$ per month!!!)
Awesome product. Application on phone isn’t as user friendly as on a tablet or computer, but that is to be expected with the amount of features it has. Great for on the go additions and updates like photos, comments, or checklists.
The only function i need is to be able to submit photos and occasionally notes with the photos. I do about 60 – 100 locations, using the form i have to put in my name, email, and state each time. These will never change and it is extremely tedious. I should be able to prefill these fields one time, NOT auto fill each time.
Brilliant! It’s the Aston Martin of Project Management. Gantt charts; card view; list view. Available on Android, iPhone/iPad and in a browser. Superb value. I use it to run a theatre company and at work for my projects. It offers collaborative features, you can attach documents to it. The list goes on and on …
No offline mode. Only online on their servers. I ONLY want offline, no online, that’s impossible with this app. Requires creating account and signing in. Requires agreeing to terms of service in order to use. Requires sharing all your personal info to login. Also, not free, paid only. Why would I pay you to give you all my personal data that I can’t even use when not connected to the internet? Pass. Uninstalled.
I use Smartsheet for basic scheduling for my remodeling business. if you know Excel then you know Smartsheet. The advantage of Smartsheet is the ability to add logic and change views from a typical spreadsheet to a Gantt chart and the app is seamless with the desktop version. I love always having my job schedule with me!
The integration with the desktop is convenient and easy. Quick access to all my different sheets. I had some functionality and delay in updates to the desktop early on, but it seems to be improved at this time.
Good tool/App for project mgt and process alert automation. Areas need improvement: – Sheet permission structure need to simplify and changes should not impact the content already created. – Some basic features in Graphs and charts are missing. Need to improve at least to the MS Excel level. Else users will download the data to an Excel and do the graphs instead on Smartsheet. – slowness on nevigating across interconnected dashboards. Would be great if resources could de be added natively without using their other service which costs additional money, like GanttPro or Liquid Planner does. Also we really needs to be able to add multiple proofs at once. I have to deliver 50 images to internal qa, then to client for review and doing it one by one is a huge pain. Buy overall this does the job, although it needs a lot of setup and preparation before a project starts, hence it’s not the best choice for quick and random projects.
The only thing i wish it had was conditional logic on forms! Otherwise, have never worked in a more user friendly and affordable tool. Love it!
Can’t take pictures with the app I have to literally use my camera then upload them they might upload they might not. If I don’t use the app for 5 or 10 minutes and I try to go back to it, it rests Sometimes I tap a space and it just says saving it makes me wait five to six seconds. No 5 to 6 seconds isn’t a long time when it happens repeatedly it adds up. Please fix these things for the sake of all things productive.
Smartsheet is an amazing product and a solid platform. The app is good, but I’m very surprised that the app developer didn’t even realize that you can’t set reminders using the app. I use Smartsheet reminders frequently and unfortunately I have to go to a computer to set reminders. That’s a let down because to me the idea would be that I could do what I need using the app.
Works ok. I use it for barcode inventory management. But it stopped reading barcodes so I think we are going to have to use something else.
Helped my team to move from a home baked RFI (Request for Information) process to something more controlled and workflow based. Very customizable workflows and easily modified rapidly based on ever changing needs. Love it
I subscribed and only used this service for a college assignment. I attempted to cancel on numerous occasions immediately after using and was only sent repeated emails. I called and called, I emailed and emailed that I wished to cancel my service. I could not remove payment source and therefore was charged as I tried to get this account canceled. I was billed 3 times. Today, I was charged again and refused a refund. Finally, Roxy helped me cancel. Never again, smartsheet. No good business.
POS, Doesn’t save files properly to google account… it was fine until an error of authentication occured… No Never again!
I have used this app for years. So I don’t know if they get financial issues due to COVID but they ‘v withdrawn 800 Euros extra. I sent mail for their financial department no answers. They go on taking 100 Euros per month extra. So you can use it but think that might happen and the solution to stop is to break the contract.
The app is great for in the field, but doesn’t allow you to do admin tasks like add licensed/unlicensed users, manage account settings, etc. Really inconvenient I have to do all the admin tasks on a laptop/desktop
Crashes, forms I use on a daily basis just dissappear. Tried getting assistance and it ended up going in circles. Have to play the traffic light and Bicycle game almost every time I submit. Not a fan.
I am finding that the overall experience of Smartsheets is limited by Google devices. Simply attempting to purchase a membership is clunky, at best, as google constantly sends you to the app where you are unable to make your purchase.

Cant cancel if no access to email I no longer use as it was work email, however i am paying for the subscription for myself. Please cancel my subscription. I cannot reply to the email listed on my account! great app to stay focused on multiple projects
