I am getting sound but blank screen after paying for the app I’d expect to be able to actually play it!

Very well done. Highly recommend

Play area is really too small for the fast, late war types provided. Otherwise a faithful port of the original game, and definitely worth the money and more. Highly recommended.

Game plays great when it works, problem is it only works about 5% of the time. Every time the app opens it gives a Unable to initialize utility error and when it does open it gives a loading screen then goes blank.

A good translation if this great boardgame, but not perfect. While playing, I’ve encountered a few rule glitches that I hope will be fixed. The game is less than a week old at the time of review, so I’m pretty lenient. When setting up matches, there are ? Symbols next to the parameters, but unaccessible. The music in game does not fit the setting and feels out of place. Plane models are 3d so it would be nice to have an isometric view.

Game seems great if you can get it started. Getting blank screen or unity engine errors about half the time.

Dire Wolf with another beautiful and intuitive digital adaptation of an excellent game. As is DW tradition, the tutorial gives you an intuitive but weirdly skeletal look at the game. A very fun assortment of options and challenges as usual, but with no shortage of room for more. The only thing that really feels missing are board sizing options, albeit many people will also likely want more planes eventually. It still feels perfectly fair at this price for such a ridiculous amount of fun.

I purchased this game because it brought back memories of a game I used to play in my youth called Ace of Aces. This is far superior to Ace of Aces and is tons of fun. I own nearly every Direwolf Digital title. I can see getting much play out of this app against the AI and also online once there are more players in the system. Actually after playing this several, I can see the tabletop board game version might be worthwhile as well. Well done.

A fun game when it works but it seldom does. The game FREQUENTLY fails to start and your only option is to force close the frozen game and reinitialize it over and over until it finally goes. Sometimes even that doesn’t work and you have to restart your phone or even reinstall the game. By the time I finally get the game to run I’m often no longer in a mood to play it.

If I exit the app and come back, I’ll sometimes get a completely black and unresponsive screen, or a black screen with “Error: Unable to initialize the Unity Engine”, and I’ll have to force quit the app and restart it. Other than that, and some of the on-screen text being really small, this is a cool game that I expect to play a lot.

A very accurate transition from the tabletop game. I could play this game all day.

This is a great little game – it’s strategic and turn based but manages to keep a speedy momentum going at the same time. The historical detail is well done and it’s great for quick rounds.

First I played the miniature game for years when the game works cuz it crashes about five times out of 10 it plays just like the game and it’s fun there needs to be an option to get more planes though it gets boring with the same four or five planes

Good conversation to a app BUT very few available aircraft no balloons or large bombers that are in the board version.

This is an excellent “pocket version” of the game, although if you are unfamiliar with the tabletop you can still pick it up quickly. Aside from a buggy launcher (usually requires multiple forced closes and restarts) I don’t have any complaints. Money well spent, it’s a great game!
