I really wanted to like this game. Parts of it are great, and the idea of outfitting your ship being a puzzle in itself, while not particularly well designed in this instance, is a great concept. However, the flight controls absolutely ruin the experience. I’ve been playing this game for maybe 10 hours now and the movement still feels awful. For as precise as parts of the progression require you to be, there is no excuse for such floaty and frustrating controls, and inconsistent hitboxes.

Honestly a great and innovative game. Super customizable, no handholding, basically a puzzle you learn how to solve with trial and error. Fantastic overall, though, the beginning is a bit boring but keep with it and you’ll have a great game to play whenever you have a spare moment. It asks for no attendance or log in streaks, just a good honest game.

Decent weapon customization, but the lack of any modifiers that turn right or left makes many of the more interesting ship layouts mostly pointless. Since taking a straight path will give you the same number of modifiers to use. Edit: I should have clarified, the turning “modifiers” don’t actually modify the shot. You ‘could’ go through the more interesting layouts, but you don’t gain anything from doing so.

Extremely good game, and I’m happy to see it’s still receiving updates. The only thing I’m unhappy with is the limitations of ships based on their geometry. I’ve found blocky ships are much better even if they have less space because you can multiply your damage better within them. I haven’t unlocked the last three tiers of weapon modules, but unless I’m missing something some ships just don’t have the necessary shape to do well, and I’d like to see this improved. Plus the end game gets grindy

I installed this 3 hours ago… Zero house work has been done. Only gripe I have is how low you have to slide you finger to make the ship go the slowest. It’s uncomfortable as hell. If the threshold for it’s low speed was a few pixels higher on the screen would be more comfortable. I tried the fat finger offset but that prevented me from being able to reach lowest velocity. Good app, I love it!

Very slow start but things started really picking up after getting the fighter. Graphics obviously have a lot to be desired but I don’t mind it all that much. My one problem is the drifting of the ship the moment you move it. It’s almost impossible to keep it from being in a state of drifting pixel by pixel which is annoying in long straightaways when farming

This game doesn’t have cutting edge graphics, AI, or even a story (yet?). What it does have is fun, enjoyable, gameplay that hits the spot. If you enjoy RPG style games then you’ll enjoy this one. With some very light grinding you’ll quickly finding yourself upgrading your ship, buying new craft, and designing the internal ship systems to optimality.

I’m enjoying this a lot. It is a bit of a grind and you are basically just leveling up your ability to blow up blocks more efficiently, but the variety of bullet behaviors and how they interact with one another, and playing with your builds, makes this one worth trying out. Even the ads are entirely optional, though doubling your end of level pay isn’t a bad trade.

One of the best games I’ve played on the play store. I absolutely love how balanced farming is early on, and how unlike many other games, you WANT to farm and grind instead of being forced to. The ship designs and descriptions are very simple yet full of life. Building ships is probably one of my favorite aspects. Instead of simple guns, I have an energy wire that I have to redirect to all of my ship’s guns in a strategic manner. I totally recommend this to anyone.

Overall pretty good. Considering that just one guy made it in Unity, in his spare time, I say it’s hella good. I certainly have fun playing it. I’d like to see more stuff, new levels, more ships and everything, but most of all, I’d like for the ships to not jump quite so much after taking my finger off and putting it back on the screen. If there isn’t a prestige system, that’d be cool. I like my games to have longevity, keep it interesting for longer. Otherwise I get bored quickly. Good job tho

This game can be fun if you get into it, there are no ads that I remember at least. My qualms with it are more just things I want to see from the dev. The ships suck, only like 4 of the ones that are 4 million or less are actually useful/can be more useful. I would like there to be more useful blocks and maybe the potential to upgrade them. It would also be very nice if there were an option to “respec” the squares you spend on a captain, so you can upgrade the next without spending more cash.

It’s not the most complex looking game, but dont let that deter you. Game is reactive and depending on the level can be hard or easy. Gives you farming levels and levels to help teach you the mechanics. Some parts of the game could use an info button. It would be nice to have a “practice” level where you have everything unlocked and nothing is rewarded upon finishing to field test your ship and guns. Loving the game. Super addictive.

This game is a very enjoyable grind. You are almost constantly able to purchase something new to help your build. It’s very rewarding to go back and easily fly through levels that were previously extremely difficult to pass. The community surrounding the game is helpful and pleasant (bet you can’t get 1st on the Alliance web app mini game). You never see an ad unless you chose to for extra rewards, which is far from necessary for progression.

Fenomenal game with some glaring flaws. Turn off “Fat Finger Compensation” in settings immediately!!!! THE DEFAULT SETTING IS GAME BREAKING! You can’t go minimum speed since you can’t go to the bottom of the screen, making levels WAY harder. Learning the games a bit if a chore with the bad interface w/ a sometimes cryptic tutorial that you don’t seem to be able to refer back to. But it’s the first cool new game I’ve found in a long time.

Great game for a one-person project. The mechanics and variety of the gun modifications / ship design are fun and creative. Lots of features and maps to explore. The controls are very sensitive on my galaxy S8 though. Controlling my ship can be frustrating. Buttons hard to press for some reason, like they don’t always register. Also, I like the concept of the bottom “toolbar”, but maybe some better color coordination is needed. It is hard to see the “tiers” or know which menu you’re in.

First, I want to say that this game is engaging, and fun to mess around with. It doesn’t demand attention 12 hours a day. Now let’s address the missing star. I reduced because this game isn’t polished NEARLY as much as it could be. The menus/selections are kinda difficult at first and could be improved by the addition of simple icons, or (even better) simple text labels. The layout can be overwhelming/confusing early on. But with some polish, this game could become a real winner!

This game is quite interesting and unique, I really love the concept and potential with the various possible builds and I look forward to seeing how it gets at higher levels. I would love to see some minor changes, and some further explanation of how some things, for example: I have no idea how the world tier system works and unsure the best way to progress beyond just making money.

I don’t even know where to start. As far as game making all the right steps have been taken. No energy requirements. All ads are optional. Played around 20 levels or so before asked for a review. As far a cellphone games go the maker nailed what I think are the best requirements. My only criticism is steering is a little hard. Steer where you want and let go of the screen, and your ship drifts off just enough to barely touch a block, which is the end. Tighten that up please!

This is an incredible game. First off, no forced ads! That’s already a massive plus! There is also the building your ship part, which is awesome. A good & smart setup can mean the difference between clearing a mission & failing a mission. While it may be grindy at some points, you don’t hit a roadblock, either it’s a short grind or you designed your ship poorly. The skill tree is also great, and having limited skill points is a smart idea to add more strategy. This is an amazing game. Get it.

The problem I’m having is the ship builder, list of parts, and the first goal page all dissappear and I can’t get them back. Seems to happen when I scroll up. I’m playing on a Samsung 21 if it matters. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times but same issue. My newest attempt I skipped the tutorial and it seems to be working fine. Awesome game. Touchscreen controll jumps a little but I like the speed controls. I’m really enjoying it as long as it keeps working. Nvm happened again..

Interesting game. One major issue that needs to be resolved though, whenever you’re trying to buy parts or build your ship set up, the item screen will go blank and its impossible to get the item selections back without restarting the game. Been trying to build a new ship all day an have yet to complete it cause I have to keep restarting. Had to remove a star until this is fixed, its a bit of a game breaker.

So far, I like it. It’s a fun upgrade-based game with pretty satisfying results. The controls are just so sub-optimal though. The joystick option doesn’t do anything, and the other two options make navigating through tight spots very frustrating. You also have to control from the bottom of the screen if you want maximum time to shoot the blocks, and because of this placement, it keeps activating my swipe gestures, or even closing the app. I think the ship should just stay in one spot vertically.

I do have a few suggestions for some quality of life improvements: Average damage per second stat after passing or failing a level. It is sometimes hard to tell if a ship or build is better in terms of overall damage output. A ship piece that splits the projectile into two, guiding it forward and to one side or the other. The three-way split piece can accomplish the same purpose, but is expensive.

I have never reviewed an app when it asked me to before, but this one I have to. It’s so incredibly fun, there are so many levels, so many opportunities to build new things and get your creativity going, it is amazing. The ads are not bothersome, either, which you don’t seem to see a lot in mobile games anymore. I swear, if I could give it 6 stars, I would!!!!

Okay, this is a truly fun and imaginative game. First of all, the ship you use and weapons you buy have a challenge in terms of design. You don’t just mindlessly hit a button to level up. Second, the maps require some thought of how to attack them, as well as what ship and config to use on them. Third, you have to actually pilot the ship you build, not just have it done for you. In short, the action is great and it makes you think. This is a hands-diwn great game!

A fascinating game! Definitely one of my favorite mobile games ever, with a great depth of strategy and some really neat and unusual mechanics. The game encourages experimenting and endless fiddling with the ship design to find new and better strategies, and it’s very clear how much the dev cares about the game, which is a welcome change from most mobile games. I would highly recommend giving this one a try!

I almost quit this game because the tutorial gives insufficient information and the start of the game is super slow. Then I read the reviews and they convinced me to keep going. I’m glad I did! I’m quite addicted to it now! Once you understand how to navigate the interface and how the blocks work (hint: make copious use of the “?” hint button), the gameplay becomes awesome. Constantly tweaking and experimenting with your ship’s item layout to see what works best is surprisingly fun!

Shoot em ups at its finest. With a decent scale for progression that isn’t too difficult in the beginning, some of the abilities could use a more in depth explanation. Would be nice to find a faction in game because I’ve been playing a while now and still haven’t been able to join one. Stages are fun and not the same every game. Ship builds can be very diverse. Skills make a huge difference. A completion reward for world stage areas would be cool.

Progress is excruciatingly slow. It feels like i’ll never get anywhere. i can’t stop the ship from zeroing in on my finger, no matter what i do in the settings menu, so i have to play the entire game with my finger on the very bottom edge of my phone, which is unconfortable. There is annoyingly little explanation about what things do so the only way to find out is to spend the money it will take forever to replace.

Not for the weak or easily distracted, but 100% rewards all effort you give it. There is no easy path to victory, but victory is always possible with some forethought and planning. This game is more about optimizing the efficiency of your ship build than passing levels, but passing the levels has never been sweeter than when you plan a ship build and it works as intended. The joys of problem solving, testing, learning and growing all in one game.

Smooth and simple enough to understand, complex enough to enjoy, and has really easy gameplay, just shoot stuff. Really fun to relax or just kill time with. Being able to use all the different modules to make your bullets act in crazy ways is also like the coolest thing ever, and I don’t see that in any other game, so it’s got a unique twist to it. 10/10, would play again.

The kind of experience you used to get from a Flash game in the 2010s. Ads are only used as a “double your rewards” option, which is damn refreshing. The wording on mechanics can be a bit vague, but the question mark on the top left is your best friend for almost any question. The UI is a little on the clunky side too, but if you can work with it you’ll have lots of fun making 12000k in no time!

Wow! The grind from the beginning is unreal. There’s little to no instruction, not much indication on what you can and can’t do, and the controls are.. interesting, easy enough to pick up as long as you don’t touch ANY of the settings. I’m sure the backend of this game is just as complex as the front end, but I’d rather not study to play a video game. There might be something that I was missing that would drastically decrease the grind, but I looked and didn’t find. Also, no ads is $15 😀

The best part of this game is it doesn’t seem to end. Its lack of frills makes for a nearly infinite universe! Several different goals and scores and leaderboards. Buy upgraded ships and cargo (to alter your weapon). There’s also some logic to which ship and organization of cargo will get you the best damage for your map (different strengths for different maps). There are 4 in-game currencies, 8 captains, 99 challenges, millions of worlds, and the infinite waves of survival mode.

Build a junker, shoot rocks in space. Different color rocks are tougher. Learn synergies between parts and ships. It’s got actual depth, so that’s a breath of fresh air. Ads are technically optional but I keep accidentally mashing the button that plays ads, which shows up whenever you win or lose. it bothers me

Super great time killer and/or something that you can play as your main app. The mechanics are incredible, you can go with one strategy or see how many you can make. Everything is amazing. The only thing I could think to complain about is sometimes the ads for rewards glitch so you don’t get them, but it’s an amazing game and it’s not affecting my gameplay. Also there are literally zero forced ads even after playing for hours.

I’m my opinion, the perfect game of it’s kind. It just has no issues. Other incremental games have issues like feeling slow, bad gameplay, not addictive enough, and gets boring. This game, has none of that. If you get bored, there are tournaments that make you think and the game becomes fun again. You can do multiple things besides the world map. You got missions, tournaments, waves, factions, yellow sqares, etc. Overall my favorite game of its kind, and nothing is beating it anytime soon.

It may look like a run of the mill “filled with ads and no effort” kinda game, but it’s not, all ads are optional, the game isn’t too easy, and does have lots of cool mechanics you need to figure out to pass the levels, you don’t automatically get stronger when you buy an upgrade, instead it encourages you to implement the upgrade into a ship (each ship has various amount of spaces you can use) I’m only on lvl 17 because of how much I struggled with the duplicate upgrade lol, great game!

This game got great reviews but I tried to play it and I’m stuck on level 4? I can’t beat it with the basic gun model, but I have to add something. But I don’t know how to erase a block to be able to. I went to the help and it has pages of instructions but why not just have a tutorial to guide us instead of having us figure it out ourselves? Because I followed the directions to get to brush mode which took forever anyway and I still couldn’t remove anything to continue. Disappointing experience

Great, except for controls. There is genuine strategy, it really feels like you are building a ship. As for controls, it feels like an overambitious attempt to give so much control that it ends up too challenging. I think an improvement would be that we control the ship’s horizontal position manually and speed is given as slider. As it is, drifting when I let go is incredibly hard to manage with big fingers or even my stylus. (Yes, I found the related settings, didn’t help.)
