Been playing since alpha, and what I can tell is that right now, the mobile scene is in a perfect spot, no lag, smooth graphics, nice gameplay. only issue I have is about the crossplay, but that’s not that big of an issue currently in the state of the game right now. overall, mobile is great.

  2. Aadit Chetan says:

Very smooth compared to the occasional stutter that I experienced on my high end pc, and so far not much input lag either. I’m just a little confused about how my phone is able to keep a more consistent experience than my mid to high tier computer, especially with input times. I would also like to see a linking system for progress from steam or console so people don’t have to start from scratch.

It is a really great game, but… Everytime I go play the servers crash on me and I have to rejoin then it does it again and again and again until I just get frustrated and leave the game. Over all though I played on all Platforms (Switch, Xbox, PS4, PC, etc.) and I always had a great time playing with my friends and just hanging around. Please continue to update the servers so it make it fair for most to all players! Have a nice day though!

  4. Zac Zabala says:

Takes a minute to get use to the controls. Once you get it, gc’s and strings aren’t as bad as I thought they would be. Being able to slide your thumbs and have the buttons recognize that makes it much smoother. Solid addition to the already wide variety of cross play options! However, It would be great to be able to link accounts across all platforms!

Coming from ps4 to Xbox to switch and now mobile, this is by far my favorite game. I couldn’t help but be excited to see you can play on mobile. But to tell the truth, it is near impossible to complete at any high level with only touch screen controls. I know you are able to plug controllers in but that defeats the purpose of playing on mobile. For new fans to the game, this will feel like a bad introduction. I’d advise to try any other platform over mobile to get the best experience.

  6. Cooper Tedstrom says:

The game is really the same in every way to the versions on other platforms, and it is awesome that there is cross play! The controls for touch screen are exceptional and have amazing customize-ability. It is probably a bit tough to get into if you have no experience with it, but I wouldn’t know. Definitely worth a try and at least 10 hours of effort into figuring it out and seeing if you really like it. I love that the game allows for keyboard controls, however they definitely need to add customization so that I don’t have to jump every time I aim up.

  7. Conner Howard says:

I enjoy how you allowed people play Brawlhalla on mobile. But I do not think it is a good idea to have mobile players play against ps4/Xbox/switch users. On mobile, you can not do combos at all. Plus there is a delay at the beginning of a match. Also the controls on mobile are just small. For example when I wanted to do a right sig, it registered it as a bottom sig

  8. Daniel Troston says:

As far as brawlhalla goes? Pretty damn good. Runs smooth, the customizable buttons are nice and can allow for very optimal button pressing on the same level or better than using a controller. It took me no time to get into a groove and pop off with Artemis, which thanks for putting my main in the first weekly rotation lol. Only done about 15 matches, between ranked 1v1 and strikeout 1v1 but unless it gets overtly worse or there are issues I find with it later I will change the review.

  9. Brad Wright says:

Great game. Been playing on console for a long time. Get a controller if you want to actually compete. Touch controls are as good as they can be, but its fast.paced and they will never be as good as keyboard or a controller. Its not pay to play like other reviews I’ve seen. You get a free rotation of characters weekly, and can unlock characters you like by earning gold just by playing. You can pay to unlock all characters or cosmetics.

I’m a huge brawlhalla fan Pros: Perfect transition Graphics Fun as always Linking a controller using g bluetooth Cons: The glitches, same as in the system. There will be times when your fighting and will just teleport off the stage Almost unplayable without a controller (but that might just be me, being use to the game on ps4) Really needs a system link with your main system. I dont really have a desire to spend all that time gaining everything over again.

  11. Avi / “Farxway” says:

Amazing port over from PC! I have been playing about a year now and was excited to see this finally being released on mobile. I haven’t experienced any lag issues so far like a lot of other people, however, the only other problem I have to make this game perfect is to improve the controls for attacking! And I’m not sure if it’s possible, but there should also be an option to bring over your progress from other platforms to mobile such as from Steam or PlayStation

  12. Jewtsu says:

Love this game, runs great on mobile, controls a bit difficult but as expected and controller usage is prohibited, the only issue I see is that I can’t transfer my account to mobile and I have to start from scratch a 3rd time. It’s silly that I need a seperate account for steam (PC), PS4, and mobile, and I can’t just use the same account for all 3. So I have to work my progress up all over again.

  13. lil broomstick says:

The game is overall good, I play it on Xbox. The only two things I don’t like about the mobile version is that I don’t have all my legends or crossovers, because it won’t let me or anyone sign into their main accounts on mobile. And whenever a match is over, it takes like 7 or less seconds to see the stats of the match of each player. During those 7 seconds I’m stuck in a black screen. But yeah, it’d be a five star if I could sign into my Xbox account.

  14. Cody says:

I have played this game before on Xbox and enjoyed it. I think the transfer to mobile was done well. The only issue I have found is on occasion I or someone else lags and ends up teleporting, but it keeps the game interesting. The only thing I would like to see improved is the control options. I find the movement controls hard to work with, and it would be nice to have a setting to change it from 4 buttons to a joystick or something like that.

  15. T-Matchless Mystic says:

For many of the reviews I’ve seen. You have to remember there is two types of lag. Lag in dropping fps do to performance issues and lag because of connection issues. In a perfect world we all know internet would be lag less anywhere and everywhere with connections available. However it all comes down to your location real time. The controls are a bit hard to get used to for sure compared to pc or console. But you can simply turn cross play off. I don’t see the issue here.

  16. Gabriel Mehalko says:

So far so amazing! The only thing i would like to see is extra control options like an analog stick or track ball style motor control. Because the stationary buttons are very easy to miss. Plus possibly adding a bit of forgiveness for if your finger slips off the control so you don’t just immediately lose your momentum. That’s probably the #1 killer for me. Get bumped off the edge and my finger slips of the directional control and I just fall directly into the void. Outside of that I love it.

  17. Sean Guirola says:

Okay I would like to say this game is really good and for the early versions on mobile it’s good. I’ve noticed a lot of people say that the controls are bad, I agree. I think that if you add multiple controller support it would be amazing. What I mean is add Bluetooth PS4 and Xbox controller support. And allow multiple players in offline play through the controllers. (Checked android dev logs it supports this) this way people could plug it into a monitor or TV like a Nvidia shield or something.

  18. MechroStories says:

Incredible game, most people are disliking this game because of frame drops, it’s fine for me, but the joystick option in settings in quite buggy, when I’m using a special, it acts like I’m going downwards, instead of upwards like I wanted it to. The starting settings weren’t the best for most players; as they are switching to joystick, overall im loving this game, easy, fun, exciting. Keep up the work.

  19. Joshua Mansfield says:

So I really felt like most people jumped into this game thinking it would be like super smash Bros or other brawlers. I would have to say it was kinda a let down. First, I loved the character designs but some seemed basic and didn’t look like they put a lot of thought in them. Second, gameplay highly relies on the weapons you pick up to the point it’s more of a fight to get a weapon. And Finally, the stages were either to basic or too complex for the mobile version. Overall it needs updated.

  20. シオン-shion says:

Love this game! I’ve been playing Brawlhalla for around 6 months now on pc, and the experience has been great. And now since its on phones I can play it anywhere. I just have 1 complaint, can you please fix keyboard support. I tried controller and it worked fine, even the tab for it in the controls popped up. But for keyboard, only the up (jump) and shift key (dodge/dash) do anything. And there is no tab to change rebinds. I would really appreciate if you guys could fix this.

  21. jennifer austin says:

I love your game. It’s really good! The only thing that I have problems with is that the game keeps teleporting me around the map. I used to get 1st or 3rd but now I get 5th or 8th(i play with 8 bots) it’s really hard to know where your character is if the map game keeps shooting me all over the place. I could be fighting someone one minute then the next without getting bit I’m fighting the game to get back on the platforms. Please fix this. It isn’t fun anymore if this keeps happening.

  22. Tyrell Brown says:

The game itself is very enjoyable and being able to play cross platform makes my gameing experience all the better. My problem is the serious lag that happens while playing the mobile version. There are time where I knock an opponent off of the screen and I see them fall then they reappear on the map and attack me and because I can’t see them attack I end up losing as a result. Please fix!

  23. Demeko Thomas says:

Best fighting game on Mobile but has some issues. I’ve been playing for a while now and the game is awesome, the graphics and gameplay is phenomenal! Now the issue this game faces the most are the controls, and the connection issues. I know that touch screens for fast reaction gaming isn’t the best input but the inaccurate inputs are way to common. I think you guys need to add a option to remove cross play, And lastly the connection is bad Im on wifi at home and wifi6 it doesn’t work well.

  24. Kayson Snyder says:

Absolutely amazing mobile version. Lots of mobile remakes of games, suck. I recommend this to literally anyone. The only problem i have, is the controls are a little bit finicky, especially when you trying to do combos, and so I would recommend adding a sort of drag of string feature where you can drag your fingers over the controls, to hit them in emediate succession. Overall, this is an amazing game.

  25. Marceline Gonzales says:

Great game! I mainly play it, and reccomend it, on PC. Brawlhalla is a bit hard to play on the the touch screen/phone. I hooked up an Xbox controller to make playing easier but, a controller is a bit laggy which is too bad. At first, it didn’t work (connection error) so I made sure permissions were enabled and after randomly opening the app over a few days it connected to online play. Now it connects online easily. Hope as it updates these issues resolve. Brawlhalla is worth the patience.

  26. David Herr says:

Fun game. I have been playing this for a few years I think. I picked it up on the phone a few months ago. Its less fun on the phone due to the controls, but that is par for the course. There is no way I see that a phone game could get better contolls than this short of adding a physical controller. Spoiler alert, that’s an option. Rewards are slow, but consistent. Consistent enough to buy the things you want, but you can pay $ to speed up. Also crossover charachters are just skins.

  27. Garrett Spearow says:

The game is great. Good way to pass the time and play competitively. There is a feature in the game that allows cross play between console and mobile (which seems to put mobile at a disadvantage) but it’s still a good challenge. However, the matchmaking in this game is kinda broken. When youre a new player, you can be pitted against pros at the game and matches can get unfair. I would recommend making the matchmaking with people in your rank so that every fight is a fair fight and not one-sided.

  28. Soladine DeBow says:

For a phone version, it’s pretty good. Ofc it doesn’t replace ur console or PC experience but u can still utilize the same combos. If u don’t have good data or wifi I wouldn’t recommend it, but if u do and ur into brawlhalla. I think they did a pretty good job. It’s practically identical. My one tip would be easier control management. I find it hard to dodge or throw weapons diagonally, but other than that, it still feels like good ole brawlhalla lol.

  29. Engineer Gaming says:

Mobile controls are not good, which is a given due to how hard it is to make good ones. Whenever I link a controller to my phone to play, the AXBY buttons do not work. This is annoying but not the worst. However, ocasionally it will not work at all upon starting a game (specifically online from what I’ve noticed), forcing me to use the touch controls, which are far worse than a controller. Fine other than that, but “that” is a very big issue.

  30. Rich Kegley says:

I love the game and concepts but the mobile controls mess up all the time and since the last update every match I get lagged, glitched or lose the frame rate at least once if not multiple times. The glitches can last from a split second to three seconds. Most of the time that’s long enough to cost me the match. Gonna try reintsalling the game. Hope it runs smoother afterwards

  31. Rednaxela says:

It’s easier than I thought it would be on mobile, as long as you change the controls. It’s a bit laggy, and ranked is even worse on mobile. I wish you could turn off crossplay so you aren’t matched up against a sweaty Mordex main on computer. And gravity cancels are way harder on mobile. I guess my biggest issue is that you can’t link a nintendo account, as Switch has my furthest progress. Other than that, this is extremely fun.

  32. Jack S says:

Love the game, but there’s some issues. The game itself is very laggy during online play whether you have good connection or not. The mobile controls are horrible and very confusing! If the controls were revamped to be more user friendly and are easier to use, then the game would be more enjoyable for newer players. The tutorials need to be more in depth too, like combo tutorials and explaining weapons would be nice.

  33. MstSgtKilljoy522 / Sharpshooter007 says:

The game is great and is almost exactly like the console/pc version of it. The problem I’m having is crossplay is always on and people don’t always have a controller by their side they can bluetooth with their phone. If you could at least make it that the game can identify if someone is not using a controller on their phone they would only be matched with other players also not using a controller. I would gladly give 5 stars if this was a feature.

  34. Lucas DuPre says:

The game has become much more balanced and fun! The major connectivity issues have been solved. However I’m a little upset they removed the refund system, and there is no way to freely earn mammoth coins. But, these are only minor issues. Easy 4/5. Worth playing if you’re looking for a game to play with your friends. P.S, I really think the developers should remove or allow a toggleable crossplay option. It can be frustrating playing against console or PC players on Mobile.

  35. Tariq Harvey says:

Really fun and everything works absolutely fine, but as of this recent update with the second Street Fighter Crossover my sound is completely cut out. Both the music and sound effects volumes are up and it isn’t an issue with my phone. I’ve tried uninstalling and redownloading the game and the sound is STILL not working AT ALL. Tried contacting support and everything and nothing has worked. I’m not sure if I’m the only one with the issue but I’d really like to hear the new music and sounds

  36. Nile Reese says:

I love the game and the characters are awesome. BUT I started playing this game on the Xbox and made so much progress, but you can’t sync data from different platforms unfortunately, and have to start all over. Then when playing online, especially in Ranked 1v1 matches I noticed players cheating, like jumping more than three times and gravity canceling 4-5 times when you can only do 1. And you can’t report the players that do it. 🙁

  37. SpicyTomato says:

Recently when I started to use my PS4 controller I’ve been having a lot more fun, one small issue though. When calibrating the controls there was only an xbox360 mapout. Please support this. Other that that it’s very close to the game on what I’m used to. (Had to edit change to support to make more sense, sorry!)

  38. Seamonster 87 says:

This game is so much fun. It is by far my favorite mobile game. It always runs great and has great gameplay. It’s great how you can customize controls to however you like. And if you don’t like the touchscreen controls you can always hook up a controller if you have one. There are no problems with the game, but sometimes people can be toxic and annoying. Luckily you can quit a match without any penalty if you don’t like your opponent. My only request is that they add account linking

  39. Travis B says:

This game is pretty fun and competitive and I really enjoy it! My only issue is a lot of people cheat somehow. In 1v1 and other times they will intentionally walk off the ledges of the platforms 3 times and then everything freezes. When you rejoin the match, they are back at full health and you’re down to 1 life out of 3. It seems like a hack of some sort that let’s them beat you without you being able to do anything.

  40. Jedhrick Ramos says:

I really like this game and I enjoy it! Its fun and competetive. I only have one issue with the game. It seems that my game is delayed somehow even though my interent is good and when I play it has green bars. For example when I try to jump it dosen’t jump and then randomly jumps when I don’t want the character to jump and has caused to me lose some matches. So please can you fix this. Thank you
